Benefiting the Cancer Research of Dr. Heinz-Josef Lenz at USC Norris

Darlene Dragica Todorovich On June 8, 2014, Darlene Dragica Todorovich, ended her long heroic fight with cancer. Darlene was born Dragica Jaksic, on June 26, 1940, in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. She died in her home on June 8, 2014, surrounded by her family.

Darlene’s positive attitude, contagious spirit, perseverance, inner strength and extraordinary love of life helped her to survive three primary cancers and beat the odds of her prognosis for years. She was truly a remarkable woman with a rare work ethic and she was successful in all areas of her life.

Darlene’s primary occupation was General Manager Plant Operations, in the specialty advertising industry. Darlene possessed a keen sense for business, she ran a balloon plant operation, worked in real estate and she balanced her work life by regularly volunteering and acting as a leader in the Serbian Orthodox Community.

Darlene was a combination of tough, compassionate and generous. She had a big heart. Darlene was a role model; an inspiration to her colleagues, friends and family. Most of all, Darlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and mentor. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and traveling. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Darlene is survived by her husband Nickola Todorovich, daughter and son-in-law Gordana and Senad Vukotich, son Alex Todorovich grandson Denis Vukotich, granddaughter Natasha Todorovich, grandson Nick Todorovich and brother Dragoslav Jaskic with his family. May she rest in Peace. Memory Eternal.
